COMPARISON

Buildryt vs buildAhome: how two Bengaluru builders compare

Both build homes in Bengaluru with in-house teams and an app. They differ on entry price, how payments and delays are written down, and how much each publishes.

Buildryt Journal · Compared 18 October 2026 · 5 min read

We are Buildryt, so weigh this accordingly. Every buildAhome detail below comes from buildahome.in, read on 18 October 2026. Where the page does not say something, we say so instead of guessing. Confirm anything that affects your decision with both companies before you sign.

The short version

  • buildAhome starts lower. Its Essential package is ₹1,680/sq.ft against Buildryt's Classic at ₹2,180/sq.ft. The packages differ in specification, so the gap is not like for like.
  • buildAhome says GST is included in its packages. Buildryt's rates include GST too.
  • Buildryt states its payment rule: each stage is released after you approve the completed work. The buildAhome page we read does not set out payment milestones, though it says its app shows a payment schedule.
  • buildAhome offers a 10-year waterproofing warranty and mentions a construction guarantee without describing it. Buildryt gives a 10-year structural warranty, a 1-year construction guarantee and a 10-year waterproofing warranty* (5 years on terraces, bathrooms and balconies), in writing on stamp paper. *Conditions apply; see your agreement.
  • The buildAhome page does not state a delay penalty. Buildryt's packages page says there is a delay penalty clause and that Buildryt pays you.

Price, side by side

Package rates per sq.ft as each company publishes them, including GST. The buildAhome page does not say whether its rates are for Bengaluru only.

On payments and delays, the useful comparison is what each company will put in the contract. A published rule is only worth something if it is in the agreement you sign, so ask both for the clauses.

Scale and track record

buildAhome states 1,000+ individual homes across 18+ cities, though another section of the page says 15+ cities, and says construction starts 30 to 45 days after the contract is signed. Buildryt, founded in 2019, builds in Bengaluru and Mysuru only. These are each company's own figures. Ask who will run your site day to day, and visit homes that were handed over at least a year ago.

Who each one suits

buildAhome may suit you if the lowest entry price matters most, you want in-house architects and VR360 walkthroughs, or you are building outside Bengaluru and Mysuru.

Buildryt may suit you if you are building in Bengaluru or Mysuru and want the payment rule, the delay penalty clause and the warranties stated plainly in writing.

Five questions to put to both builders

  • Is the price fixed in the contract, and what exactly counts as a change?
  • Which payment is due at each stage, and what triggers it?
  • What are the full terms of the warranties and guarantees, in writing?
  • What happens if the schedule slips, and is there a penalty clause?
  • What is excluded: approvals and government fees, utility deposits, compound wall, rock excavation?
